1. About the app
Guide for Steal an Egg is an unofficial, fan-made guide app for the Steal an Egg experience on Roblox. It catalogs pets, eggs, worlds, egg-pool chances, mutations and index rewards, and provides income, Fuse Machine and hatch-timer calculators. The app is not made by, affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or authorized by Roblox Corporation or by the creators of the Steal an Egg game. All game names, images and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Guide content is compiled from publicly available community references.
2. Data we collect
2.1 What we do NOT collect
The app does not require an account and never asks for your name, email, phone number, address, location or any other personal information. There is no user profile and no sign-in. The entire catalog, every image and all guide text ship inside the install and work fully offline — the app never downloads its content.
2.2 Settings check (our server)
When you open the app, it makes one request to gag.culpadolag.com.br/stealanegg-config.json to read a small settings file: whether there is a notice to show and whether ads are enabled. This lets us correct something or post a message without waiting for a Play update. The app works normally when the request fails, which is the expected case offline.
Like any web request, it carries standard HTTP information: IP address, User-Agent and timestamp. We use it only for an aggregate count of how many devices open the app and from which countries. We never store your IP address in readable form — it is reduced to a one-way hash purely so a single device is not counted twice, and access logs rotate. No identifier links that request to you, and nothing about what you looked at inside the app is sent.
2.3 Advertising identifier (Google AdMob)
The free version displays banner and full-screen interstitial ads through the Google AdMob SDK. AdMob may access your device’s advertising identifier (AAID) to serve relevant ads and measure their performance. That identifier is controlled by Google, not by us, and you can reset or limit it at any time in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads). See Google’s policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
2.4 Local on-device storage
The app stores your preferences — chosen language, light or dark theme, and whether ads have been removed — in the device’s local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by us. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
2.5 In-app purchase (Google Play Billing)
If you buy the one-time product Remove ads, Google Play Billing processes the transaction. The app only receives an entitlement token, which it uses to unlock the ad-free state locally on your device. We never see or store your payment card details — all payment data is handled exclusively by Google Play. Once Remove ads is active, no ads are requested and the advertising identifier is no longer used by the app.
2.6 Links you choose to open
The Settings screen offers a link to our Google Play listing and a share button that opens your device’s own share sheet. These only act when you tap them, and they hand control to Google Play or to the app you pick. Nothing is sent anywhere until you make that choice.
3. What we use data for
- Read the settings file so notices and the ad switch can reach installed apps;
- Count, in aggregate only, how many devices open the app and from which countries;
- Display ads through Google AdMob (free users only);
- Validate Remove ads purchases through Google Play Billing;
- Remember your language, theme and ad-free status locally on the device.
4. Who we share data with
- Google AdMob — banner and interstitial ad serving (see Google’s policy linked above);
- Google Play Billing — in-app purchase processing;
- Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection in front of the settings file.
That is the complete list. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with data brokers. We use no analytics SDK, and we do not track what you view inside the app.
5. Retention and deletion
We hold no personal records about you — only aggregate, non-identifying counts — so there is nothing on our side to delete. Everything the app saves lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall it. You may also clear it at any time through Android Settings → Apps → Guide for Steal an Egg → Storage → Clear data.
6. Children
The app is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served through Google AdMob under its family-safe policies where applicable.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes appear on this page before they take effect.
